As a true believer in everything happens for a reason,

Do Tell started when I needed it most. I did not go to school for graphic design, art, typography or calligraphy. I’m a proud alumni of the University of Central Florida, and graduated with a degree in Health Care Administration. Throughout my college career I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I have always been a crafty, artsy person, but never thought of it as a career. So, I chose health care. After college I worked a few jobs were I learned a lot in the corporate world. At the end of 2014, I decided to make a career move and begin a career at a local hospital organization. (And here’s where the everything happens for a reason comes into play.)  

I gave my two weeks at my current place of employment to start my new job right after. Within a few days of my beginning my new job, I got a call that the new position I was going to be filling had fallen through and I was jobless. My old position was already filled so I had no job to go to, or go back to. I was raised with an extremely strong work ethic by self employed parents. Not working is something I do not know how to do, and I was emotionally distraught. In the midst of applying for new jobs, I took a calligraphy class to pass the time. To my surprise, I LOVED it. I started practicing every day, sometimes all night. The artsy, crafty side of me started to emerge again and finally figured out where my passion was. 

Looking back, I was so upset that my “dream job” had fallen through. But now I think to myself, what if it hadn’t? From that day forward, Do Tell was born! The last two years have evolved into learning I have even a greater passion - weddings! Which is what I hope brought you here!. There is no greater feeling than working closely with my clients to create custom stationery or details for the biggest day of their lives!
